Couldn’t get through the first episode
I’m not usually that critical but I couldn’t listen to this without getting extremely annoyed by the way he chose to tell the story. If it wasn’t going to be exclusively about a wedding scammer, pick a different name. Also, a cold open is usually supposed to be exciting and hook us in! Not take us along on the most boring CVS visit in human history. Whatever the story is here, it got lost in the telling. Maybe the host should have passed it along to a more objective journalist. He got one thing right: most of the people listening probably have a lot of experience with true crime pods. We don’t need him to explain how good ones are made. Just do it! He did not.
