Good but needs work
While the first episode captivated me, the second was not nearly as good. Justin seemed to repeat himself more often and acted as if common occurrences (like faking yelp reviews) were widely outrageous behavior. He seemed to feel as though he needed to fact check every claim he made and that messed up the flow of the story greatly. That being said, it’s an interesting premise and I look forward to seeing if it improves in the next few episodes.

I’m a huge fan of ringer pods, but I’m definitely not a true crime pod person. However, I found this podcast engaging, interesting and fun. Kudos to Justin Sayles on a great first effort!

This guy’s whole meta approach to doing a true crime pod just does not work. Didn’t make it through the first episode—painful
