Not what it used to be…
It’s just not what it used to be now the other lads have left. Jack and Liam (and even Lewis to an extent) were by far the best thing about the podcast - its USP was how natural they were together and how obvious it was that they were just genuine fans, following Wednesday home and away. They’d really hit the sweet spot with it, but now it’s just the James show, and he’s completely unbearable. James obviously works hard on the pod, but he comes across as being very smug, a real know-it-all (albeit he gets a lot of his facts wrong), and he has a terrible habit of interrupting whoever he’s talking to. One of his favourite things to do is to tell everyone that HE already said that, HE already called it, HE knew something ages before everyone else. Fair play to him for not giving in to the dreaded ‘cancel culture’, but it seems like one moment of Twitter madness might have cost him his pod’s success by losing the other lads. At least we don’t have to listen to him brag that he has so many Patreon subscribers he can nearly afford to pack in his job anymore though - can’t imagine he’s got many paying subscribers left. Genuinely hope it will get back to the way it used to be one day (or Jack and Liam decide to set their own pod up).

2 proper Wednesdayites, saying how it is and interviewing ex-players really enjoying them. Carry on the good work and Up the Owls, also loving the pre-match insight too 👌
