U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn on Friday was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal at the White House by President Joe Biden for his efforts in defending the Capitol on Jan. 6. He was among 13 individuals honored, including other law enforcement officers who fought off the mob during the attack. WTOP’s Capitol Hill Correspondent Mitchell Miller interviewed Officer Dunn about his harrowing experience and how he’s dealt with issues related to a day he’ll never forget.
