Dana’s sense of humor
is so stupid, and I mean that in the best way. The Weird Place scratches the exact itch that I didn’t even realize was eczema… the eczema of longing. Each year, my family partook in the NYE Twilight Zone marathon on the SciFi channel. And each year, my family spent countless hours watching every scene and special feature on the Master of Disguise DVD. The Weird Place marries the fuzzy feelings of both familial viewing experiences… experiences I never even realized I was missing over all those years. And now, as a father myself, knowing that Dana wrote these episodes with his own boys… well… What’s a feeling fuzzier than fuzzy?
