“Why no discussion of the darker side of Amazon not least their atrocious employment conditions,total lack of ethics,unenvironmental,fake reviews which are encouraged & colluded with,dangerous products,misleading adverts,excess packaging,encouraging debt(as per Klarna).I haven’t used Amazon since Oct 19.Amazingly the world still goes round & no issues in the pandemic.Fed up with the generalisations Which spouts out(plus in the mags).Don’t assume everyone has subscription tv for starters or endless smart devices.Use your library for digital books & other apps.There isn’t just Kindle flame.Finally pleased to hear a brief heads up re bookshops.No wonder the high street is almost dead bar hipster coffee bars or God forbid the Mermaid lady & co...Online shopping is fine in moderation & is a lifeline for those of us who don’t live in a metropolis or those who don’t have a bus service,aren’t mobile,have certain special needs/some disabilities or have agoraphobia etc.At least one of your interviewees admitted he had items he didn’t know why he’d bought.Let’s save the planet”
