Glenshee the largest ski centre with 22 ski lifts, spread over 4 mountains and 3 valleys and only 2 hours from Edinburgh.  Skiing suitable for all ski levels, with great ski schools.  Braemar only 10 mins away. Nevis range on west coast on Britain's 8th highest mountain, 11 ski lifts and the UK's own;u mountain gondola from the car park to the mountain.  Holds the snow well so a great place to ski later and spectacular views. Lecht on the East coast, really snow-sure and lots of snowmaking facilities and great for families with easier well maintain slopes and a nice day lodge at the end.  Plenty to do in the area too.
