Perhaps the closest I'll get to Africa
I started listening to this podcast as a way of not listening to the news and arriving at work incredibly stressed from yelling at the radio. Knowing little about African wildlife or photography, I came for the distraction and stayed for the enjoyment. Gerry's idiosyncratic, but very straightforward presentations are a delight to listen to. He has strong opinions and isn't afraid to talk about them - a refreshing change from most public discourse these days. I am in awe of Gerry's energy and enthusiasm, but grateful for his generosity in sharing so much knowledge. It's been fun getting to know other members of the Wild-Eye team as well. I may never make it to Africa, but if I do, I feel very well-prepared. Keep up the good work guys.

I love Gerry’s podcasts. I always take away some nugget or other and finish smiling and wanting more. His sheer enthusiasm is breathtaking. Well done and please keep it up!
