“I like Van, despite his using every episode to narrate his autobiography. His takes on the show are on point.
All Jemele does is regurgitate stuff from Jonathan Abrams’s book All The Pieces Matter. They actually should have called this podcast All The Pieces Matter because that’s what it is for the most part, that book in podcast form. Every take she gives, every piece of trivia, every deep dive. All of it is just stuff she read in the book. It’s disappointing and lazy.
She was a strange pick for this podcast. I don’t get it at all. They should have also given this show to Van and Rachel Lindsay.”
