It used to be good
I started listening to Charlie and Macy around episode 18 and religiously kept up with their show for sometime. At some point though the show became less about witchy things and more about them reading madlips, chapters from some 1800s etiquette book or most recently AI generated fanfic of themselves. It came to the point that I only started tuning into the spookysodes because I still enjoyed the listener stories and the topics they would cover. Unfortunately that didn’t last too long either. Eventually the spookysodes were just listener stories and didn’t cover any focused topics. I was really excited about their 300th episode being a spookysode because the girls covered a topic outside of the listener stories. But I had to skip the entire 2nd hour because it was what can only be described as a dramatic reading of AI generated fanfics. Very disappointing. At this point idk if I’ll still check out the spookysodes or not but I definitely won’t be recommending this podcast anymore.

Absolutely love listening to these two! They have the best voices, best stories, and talk about great stuff. I listen all day long at work! Once I run out of episodes I’ll probably just start at the beginning again 🖤

Just listened for the first time to the Hoodoo episode and as a seasoned witch, love the realness. I am not a deity based, love & light witch and have found many podcasts very hard to relate to. This one is for all the witches! 🔮

Love, love, love it!! You ladies are real and raw and funny as hell! Your flow is amazing and I applaud you for putting this out there. You have created something magical and I can’t wait to hear more. My only complaint was I couldn’t talk back. Thank you
