“I’ll give these guys 3 stars because they love Michigan athletics, and so do I. Chris Balas is passionate and Doug Skene offers tremendous technical insight along with great personal and historical perspective on the football program. That said, I lost most of my respect for them during a recent podcast as they took cheap shots at our governor in light of the pandemic and then had the nerve to take issue with the big ten’s lack of leadership, in their opinion, without once addressing our federal governments lack of clear messaging (to say the very least) in how best to respond to Covid. If one wishes to read or listen to sane, responsible, and somewhat objective coverage of The University of Michigan and its athletic programs, check out Brian Cook on Mgoblog or Mgopodcast.”
