“I really had high hopes for this podcast when I saw it. I had listened to “Dirty John”, also by Wondery, and really enjoyed it. This is a fascinating subject, that unfortunately has been reduced to the equivalent of a poorly written audiobook. The writing is terrible, and the narration is so campy and over the top, that it’s pretty much unlistenable. If you’re looking for an informative true crime podcast, you will need to look elsewhere. This isn’t it.”
