Three Paths to Holiness
I appreciate the gift of Bishop Barron’s podcasts on Word on Fire. I listened carefully to the podcast “Three Paths to Holiness.’ It is very inspirational to give me the enlightenment togo into the jails in Los Angeles County as part of the volunteers to develop fellowship with the inmates. I don’t see myself as a particularly holy man. I know myself as a sinner and I try to remember that as I go forth to facilitate the time with the inmates. Finding the center, acknowledging my own sinfulness, and trying not to make the time about me but what God wants for those I visit is actually the way to holiness. If the men in jail that I visit draw from that well, then I have done my job. Thanks Bishop Barron for again making me understand what God wants from me.
