Yes, she pronounced “morningk”, not “morning”
It is not the first time I have heard a young ABC reporter gratuitously adding a “k” sound to “ing”. I have given similar feedback to ABC before.
It is sad to see such noticeable decline in English, not to mention poor quality control in public news broadcasting.”
