Listening to these ladies laugh about ridiculous plot holes, flat characters, and absurd story arcs makes me feel less alone in this world. If you’ve ever sat amongst your friends and wondered, “Am I the only one who thinks that book is just dumb???,” while everyone raves about how great they think it is, rest assured, you are not alone in this world. This podcast is proof. Sometimes the emperor has no clothes, you know? And it’s funny to notice that he has no clothes!

This podcast is so great. It is funny and smart and weird. I especially love the fact that Renata and Kait genuinely review the books. They don’t simply pan all the books they discuss them in detail and explore the ways misogyny influences the way we talk about books that appeal to women.
