“I found you through Science Fiction Film Podcast and The Lost Drive-in (both endlessly entertaining.) I was a baby when the show first aired and my brother used to scare me with it all the time. I first watched the whole series in 2015 and rewatched my favorite eps an embarrassing number of times at this point. Dean and Josh, you make snooze episodes like Fire enjoyable for me. Now I pay closer attention to music accompaniment of Mark Snow, Rob Bowman’s producing, various writers and that makes me view and appreciate the X-files in a whole new light. You make great points discussing its zeitgeist, and cultural impact it has had on the future TV/films/books/social psyche and where the show pulls it’s influences from. You’ve created a lovely community of devoted listeners who tune in during live recordings and I look forward to those every week/other week. Thanks for bringing so much amusement to my life.
