A motley mix of stoicism, misanthropy, and pomposity. Paul Fussell once said journalism is only writing what your subject would rather keep quiet, everything else is publicity. Sports “journalism “ is a barren environment largely populated by corporate shills and cheerleaders. Not these guys. I have been a college football fan since my early childhood, and this podcast is the best source of news and information I have ever found, print, video, or podcast. My hope is this podcast keeps going for many more seasons, selfish?, yes, but at least I can admit it! Make sure y’all try a nice malty marzen or October Fest brew, you won’t regret a break from hoppy brews or gawd awful Busch light, or whatever else the Neanderthal is drinking these days. I tried to rate the show 5 cheese-graters, but all I get is stars to express my satisfaction with the show! This is pretty much as close as a podcast gets to replicating what sports writers act like when there's nobody around.
