“As a 64 year old liberal supporter of Bernie Sanders, I can’t listen to you any more.
From my perspective, the statements made by your on air personalities regarding not voting for Hillary Clinton is an encouragement to others to do the same. Furthermore, you attack Ms Clinton on a daily basis that makes her sound like the most evil politician on the planet. From my perspective, the Republican candidates are much worse for America’s future than Ms. Clinton is. Although not perfect and in the absence of having Mr. Sanders on the ticket, she is a darn sight better for us than anyone the Republicans put forward.
It is critical that our next president is a Democrat. Woe be to us all if there is a Republican congress and president who want to kill every program that supports our living. Take a look at any recent Republican budget and you will see the cuts that would impact everyone’s quality of life.
Your comments are irresponsible since they will drive people from the polls and let the Republicans win. Although I support the changes to campaign financing you seek, that is a long term project that I will probably not survive to see them. In my over 40 years of voting, I have supported the most liberal candidates on the ballot through my donations, volunteering and votes because that was the mechanism of change available to me.
