After retiring from professional tennis in 2003, Daniel transitioned into coaching, guiding notable players like Thomaz Bellucci, José Acasuso, and currently, Uruguayan star Pablo Cuevas. His coaching career highlights include a Grand Slam doubles title with Cuevas and two ATP Tour titles with Acasuso.
