She achieved a career-high singles ranking of #28 and reached the pinnacle of #12 in doubles, capturing 22 WTA doubles titles. Paz's career highlights include reaching the semi-finals at the French Open and US Open in 1991, and winning two gold medals at the 1995 Pan American Games in doubles and team events.
