“Overall I really like the content of this podcast. These guys are speaking truth that I’ve suspected in the back of my mind but unfortunately never heard in the evangelical churches I grew up going to. Every episode blows my mind with the simple truth of what they’re saying.
The only downside to this podcast is that I sense a misogynist bent in how they conduct their ministries at their church. It doesn’t affect the theology, per say, but it does seem like it would affect me (a woman) being able to learn about said theology if I attended their church. Quite often they mention “the men I was teaching [said topic] to this week...” It makes me think that if I were a member of their church, I wouldn’t be allowed to attended these classes or meetings because I’m not a man. Thankfully iTunes doesn’t care about that, so I can freely learn about these things without needing to break into the guys’ club that these pastors seem to promote at their church.”
