What I needed after a season of suffering….
Christ imposed Himself into my life twenty seven years ago - I will never get over what Christ has done for me. My first ten years were at Calvary Chapel where no one seemed to notice the nominal christians among us.. Once I was introduced to reformed theology and by God’s grace embraced the doctrines of Grace I followed the stronger toned teachers like MacArthur, Washer etc.. I now attend a well known reformed church in my area and week after week we are accused of being nominal christians or reminded that one may be sitting next to us. It’s exhausting. We are sinners saved by grace.. some of us are wobbling down the road with our eyes no less focused upon our great Savior. I am one of those.. over the course of the last few years my children stopped attending church and my wife suffers from depression. I have not seen your best life now. God has used Theocast to bring me great joy and rest. I listen almost daily.. I laugh.. I cry.. And I thank God for my brothers in Christ Jon Moffitt and Justin Perdue. I am sticking it out at my church and have had successful moments where I have been able to come alongside others and encourage them. Thank You for all the time invested! It is not in vain. God Bless You My Dear Brothers In Christ.

You can cut the first 15 minutes of every episode. This stuff is serious, I don’t need to know about your garden or your truck. Also, please focus on the specific hermeneutic of a passage. What is that take away. I’m sure I could listen better, but could meet me halfway?
