Gospel balm for weary souls
Other than Sunday, Wednesday is quite quickly becoming my favorite day of the week. This podcast is saturated with biblical truths, gospel hope, and heralds the sufficiency of Christ. The boys present big theological ideas in an approachable manner, making it very easy to digest and understand. As a mom of three young children and a husband who is active duty military and gone quite often, “rest” is often foreign (at least in the world’s terms). Rest in Christ however, true “REST”, has never been more abundant. This podcast is life-giving and so restorative, week in and week out. Rest in Christ, assurance in His accomplished work, and finding sustenance in the ordinary means of grace. The indicative leads to the imperative. The “navel-gazing” and my bend towards perfectionism left me desperately in a state of failure. Thank you Theocast, for turning my eyes off of myself and onto Christ and others every time I push play. Thank you.

I am learning the gospel is simple, the burden is easy, and I feel better. Down to earth people having down to earth discussions about things...Read full review »
