“I’ve just started listening after recommendation from my best friend and I’m so glad I did! I come from podcasts such as Assurance of Pardon and Distilling Theology which are excellent for a layman preparing for a life of ministry like myself but the content here on Theocast is simultaneously comforting and convicting. I am comforted by the reminder of grace and convicted by what I have tried to mold grace into so as to please God when God is pleased in Himself to impose His own righteousness upon His people. There’s is no topic apart from Christ yet every episode approaches in a different and thought provoking way. Just listening has caused me to Google words I don’t know, read passages of scripture I’ve never read, and has just improved my ability to keep up when it comes to theological discussions. The cliché “You guys don’t pull any punches” does not apply here, you make it very clear that, as scripture tells us, Christ holds His bride firmly and will lose none. Keep it up! Glory to God!”
