“Podcasting needs directors, writers, producers to develop a HIGH QUALITY podcast.
👏GOOD writing… voices are animated & strong character (good tone & relaxed delivery… )
✋BAD gum chewing? That’s worse than the podcasts with distressing: ambient noises, shuffling paper, clicking pens, background din, quartz cheap wall clocks, click,click,click!
Ugh. Editing your future podcasts with someone who can be creatively aware and listen to your podcast will pay handsomely.
To all podcasters: request land line phone calls. Or a stable cellphone connection. Podcast after podcast have poor scratchy cellphone interviews. Unlistenable. Howard Stern requests callers use a landline, or stable cellphone, not earbuds etc. Stern’s team pointed to garbled, unintelligible callers as the most irritating 😠 issue with listeners! Not even the voices, ideas, or personalities were as egregious.
