Masculine, hard-hitting, astute and articulate
Nuance is for Nancies. And you will find none of it with this podcast. Joel does a good job analyzing touch-point issues with a well-reasoned and exacting clarity. One might complain that Joel comes off as very sure of his conclusions, with no reservation for differing opinions, but to be fair, open-ended, indecisive conclusions is not what this podcast is about. Joel has a tangible desire to not merely theorize about theology, but he obviously wants to find out what God means to say about a topic, so it can then be applied to his life. That kind of absolute committal to the Word of God and obedience to it is refreshing, and much more preferable to the postmodern indeterminate pontificating you get from most podcasts these days. I give it five stars.

Some may not like this show- those who don’t like the living & active sharp two edged sword of the Word of God. The truth doesn’t always feel good- but it is SO needed. Thank you for this ministry.
