“I have been listening for over a year and while I didn’t always agree, I liked hearing the different viewpoints. However recently I heard a podcast where he said that the only purpose for sex in marriage is procreation. (Mind you he had some more background info for his thoughts.) but I’m sorry, as a woman that has never had the desire to have children you’re basically saying I shouldn’t ever marry because if I do and don’t have children I’m basically sinning against biblical principles. While I understand many hold to a viewpoint like this, and I respect their right to do so, this podcast used to be about challenging issues to Christianity with a modern lens. This perspective seems to go back to more ultra conservative viewpoints. Which again is cool, but then I think Preston needs to be clear about his more conservative perspectives as this kind of thinking can mislead the audience. For people that hold to this mindset he’s great to listen to and has some cool guests. For those who don’t, there are awesome more modern podcasts out there.”
