News analysis the way it’s supposed to be
There’s a strong need to look at events, understand why they matter, go back from what happened to why it happened and go forwards to what might happen next. All of this needs to be packaged so that it’s consumable and comprehendible. This podcast seems to do exactly that. It’s an informed person’s opinion on a relevant topic, shared in 10–15 minutes. It’s delivered with passion, not hysterics. It’s thoughtful, easy to consume and it invites participation via comments. From what I can tell so far, it has no hint of political bias — a rarity in today’s atmosphere. It looks like Shekhar’s playing fair and making a good-faith effort to tell the truth.
