Smart, important, and a breath of fresh air
As someone works on the internet as a career (and by default chronically online), this podcast has helped me address and reconcile with the ethical issues around tech and the industry I work in. I have recommended this podcast to parents, colleagues, and basically anyone I interact with who is feeing the despair of the evolution of the internet. Subscribed, because I liked the premise. Episodes sat idle and unlistened to for a few weeks. Was a bit apprehensive to start. Felt like I did not have mental space for it, 9 months into pandemic. Disinformed is such an important and critical archive of the ongoing contributions of black women to internet policy and culture. Offers fruit for a lot of thought in thinking about how to make the internet a safer space for all users
