Description
CLICK TO PLAY A film by Jack & Jude Binder Go off the tourist track with four adventures in Tasmania, Australia's mysterious, southernmost island. Trek along the historic King River railroad where adventurers, Jack and Jude Binder document 100 years of pollution from Australia’s oldest mine. Take a scenically beautiful voyage up the fabulous Gordon River aboard S/V Stormbreaker. Explore living history inside Kelly Basin where in 1900 a railroad was hacked out of virgin rainforest. Then, join Jack & Jude for a three day assault on one of Tasmania’s toughest peaks — no trails across a myriad of streams to the top of Tasmania's Mount Sorell. About Jack & Jude Two veteran Australian sailors return to the sea following a 15-year refit of their self-built Ferro cement ketch, "Banyandah" (aboriginal word meaning “home on the water”) which had carried them and their two sons around the world. With the kids grown, it's time for Jack and Jude to complete their 9,000 mile circumnavigation of Australia.
