“If you like listening to true crime podcasts, add this one to your playlist! These ladies are well researched and intelligent, they cover lesser known cases and they’re so witty. They are also fantastic story tellers and personalize the victims before jumping into the terrible thing that happened. That’s really a gift to the listener and the victim’s loved ones because suddenly all the listeners feel like they know the victim, can relate to their circumstances and are emotionally invested in the tragedy. That really separates them from people who just want to tell crazy true crime stories for entertainment.
Another thing that sets them apart from other crime podcasts is when they discuss a bigger issue that relates to the case they presented and I absolutely love that. For $3 on their Patreon they have a 2 parter on forensic evidence used in trials, how accurate it really is and how misleading it can be to lead a jury. I’ve been watching, reading and listening to True Crime since I was a teenager and I’ve never heard anyone else bring this up. Huge eye opener.
