“This is a very good podcast about interesting lesser known events in history, presented in my favorite format: One person delivering well researched information about people places and things. Stephen has a clear calm voice that does not distract from the subject matter. This allows the listener to embed themselves in the story from beginning to end.
I’m often saddened by other podcasters who drown their own unique content in an unfortunate and distracting format, usually two dudes riffing and laughing, or a guy and a girl injecting their own opinions into what becomes a long and inefficient way of presenting content.
Written in Blood is up there with Dan Carlin, Mike Duncan, Paul Cooper and Nitin Sil. 4 stars!”
