Great Information: Two Podcasts In One!
I found out about this podcast after searching for a podcast interview with Dr. Juris. The new podcast (Fitness for Consumption) that he hosts offers fitness professionals critical information regarding the science of exercise and motor learning. Many of the popular trends in the industry are scrutinized and I appreciate how the show is not married to any one concept or technique, but rather looks to science to guide decisions. I was surprised to find the other podcast, Think Fit. Be Fit., hosted by Jen Schwartz. It is a refreshing challenge to the current belief that exercise needs to constantly be a never-ending punishment. She offers a reasoned and rational approach to exercise and I appreciate the insights offered in her interviews. She is someone I’ll be learning from going forward and hope to encourage others to do the same. These are two podcasts that I highly recommend for anyone in the exercise or rehab professions!
