Dogs are not pack animals, there is no such thing as an “alpha” or “front of the pack” dog, dominance theory was studying wolves in captivity. Dogs are not wolves, the same theories (now disproven) that applied to wolves in zoos does not apply to domesticated dogs. This entire theory of training is punitive and abusive.”
