“So detailed and fascinating, great interviews and a very interesting look at the Jacksons’ impact and power over the years. Now I want a second season looking just at the stories of different children he befriended. Sean Lennon has talked about his experience, and (paraphrasing) how he felt discarded once he grew up. He also put out a song/music video called Bubbles that is interesting. I don’t understand where the parents were. And how did Neverland Ranch work- what’s the truth of various rumors about what his living quarters/hallway was like? What about the security guards/employees whose job it seemed to be to make sure MJ had access to young male friends around the clock? Are any of them speaking up now? What did Katherine think about it all? Really interested in learning about this system MJ had set up with help from others. And even if you’re a person who doesn’t believe any sexual abuse ever happened ever, what is the emotional impact of being friends with a Peter Pan? Sure, let’s say MJ should have gotten a chance at making friends with kids since he never had a childhood— but what’s it like to be one of those kids? Just because he wants all these child friends, is it right/fair to put kids in these by all accounts intense situations? Makes me think of recent YouTuber controversy about a star befriending kids and crossing boundaries.”
