“I always feel so daunted by classical music, like there’s an exam I didn’t prepare for. This podcast flips the script and makes classical music accessible and fun. It’s like having that music-loving friend go through their cd collection and hand you some hits. Not everything hits home, but every once in a while, I find a gem. I also appreciate how modern tracks are showcased, helping to paint a fuller picture of the special guest.
Regarding the guests, I never know who they are… but because Jess always engages with them so positively, I assume they are cool humans too.
All in all, this podcast puts me in a good mood and broadens my horizons. I recommend it for anyone who wants to dip their toe into the classical genre.”
