“Not a Monday goes by when I don’t get excited when I see another podcast uploaded from two guys who I now feel are friends film critics and cinephiles Joe Reid and Chris V. Feil. This podcast is for every Oscar watcher who enjoys their history of how some films have the stars aligned in their favor and get to say they are an Oscar nominated movie. They start with a quick synopsis and then deep dive into the storylines, characters, actors, directors, screenwriters and their history of how close they came to getting nominated for that Oscar gold for the film their talking about or over their entire career. Then at the end of the podcast they play a fun game known as the IMDB challenge where they guess which four films IMDB selects as their signature roles big enough to appear on top of their individual career pages. One caveat I do realize that our hosts Joe and Chris are young, I do wish they would deep dive into the films if the 70’s and 80’s because that’s when things got really crazy and really could use a deep discussion. But I take what I can get and everything that This Has Oscar Buzz gives me everything and then some!”
