“I listen to a lot of geeky film and entertainment podcasts. I think I came across this one because it was recommended by Pop Culture Happy Hour. It’s a great premise for a film podcast, however, it is really poorly executed. I have continued to listen to it each week to see if it will improve, but it really hasn’t. The sound quality isn’t great, as other reviewers have mentioned, but that isn’t what bothers me. What irks me is the two hosts sound as if they have done little to no preparation and make a lot of mistakes - there isn’t one episode I have heard that wasn’t full of misinformation about the movie they are talking about. Also, each episode doesn’t have much structure and isn’t well organized so they will go off topic, and they don’t really try to critique why these movies weren’t Oscar worthy, they just say they’re bad. Lastly, they could play clips from the movies throughout each episode to not only help give them structure but also to keep the episodes from being so flat.”
