This one hit me
I had been listening to the betrayal podcast for many months while grappling with the revelation of my husband’s addictions and betrayal. I remember feeling personally sad and scared when you announced your divorce, saying to my husband - if they can’t make it what hope do we have? He assured me in that moment that would not be us. I so wanted to believe that. Several months later I discovered he’s back into addiction and this time not remorseful but has convinced himself he is not happy with “this version” of me post the betrayal. And so now it might really be over. And my kids and I are distraught. This podcast on the untold story behind her divorce was what I needed today to see the steps to go on, however it works out. Thank you, Ashlynn, for sharing your story or self care and self compassion. You are an inspiration!

Thank you, Ashlynn, for being so authentic and genuine. You model how to make and keep boundaries and how to love myself. I am so thankful for you and how you’ve helped guide me the past few years…through betrayal and just life in general.
