Sad to see it go
I can’t remember how I found this podcast. I don’t consume any of the other media produced by LDS Living and never saw it in its video form. But I do know that I’ve been listening for years, and it has been a real blessing to have these stories accompany me through some very momentous times in my life. We have a tendency of getting too wrapped up in the narratives of our own lives and in those situations it is vital to make space for the sorties of others. My life has been throughly enriched by being able to step away from the messiness of whatever I was going through and just observe the pure simplicity of the stores of these saints. They were often quite harrowing, but they reminded me that what I was going through also had a purpose and an end over the horizon. I can tell this show produced with a lot of love. KaRyn and her team did a wonderful job curating and producing each episode. They shared the stories of their storytellers with great dignity and grace. I commend them all. I don’t know where I can go to replace this. We are members of a church that encourages so much discussion and dissection that the sincerity of this podcast was something that gave me a real breath of fresh air. I wish all those who worked on this project nothing but success in their future endeavors and thank all those who shared such touching stories. I’ll stay subscribed just in case ;)

This podcast offers a great little nugget of the spirit throughout my week. Love to hear real life stories of Saints around the world and their highs and lows and how they deal with the obstacles they face.
