THIS IS AN AMAZING LISTEN! The only thing wrong with this podcast are some of these reviews, with white people complaining that the podcast is not about them and all these petulant misogynists whining about the narration. Rebecca Nagle is the narrator. Get over yourselves. Podcasts are about the content. If something as menial as her tone or speed displeases you, then go listen to something else because you aren’t even paying attention to the actual content. Journalists are not here to be critiqued according to how palatable and pleasing they are for your consumption. If what you crave is a fake, white, male voice, then you are in luck, since that is what every single podcast platform has available, and overwhelmingly so. NOW, ALL OF THAT ASIDE, this content is much needed and appreciated. I appreciate the host and her narration, as she gives listeners an inside perspective to a culture that does not belong to us and one that is often overlooked. I CANNOT WAIT to hear more regarding this case, as I greatly enjoy the attention to detail (the layer cake analogy) and historical context given toward the land rights and previous broken treaty issues. This podcast is both informative and interesting. I love the professional tone and cadence of the narrator. Thank you Crooked Media for picking up this show and expanding your cadre of talent. Thank You Rebecca for bringing this amazing story to life!

More reviews of This Land

That being said, maybe someone other than Rebecca could read the ad copy - too many in a row. I appreciate the hard...Read full review »
