Great find!
So I was searching for Muslim podcasts where I could hear about issues and more representation for Muslims - and I’m glad that I stumbled on this podcast. Just heard the episode about mental health and the stigma attached to therapy and let me say that it isn’t just a stigma for Yemeni American Muslims but for Muslims in general. I see in Pakistan - where I live- all the time. There is a shame in admitting that we need help and that we don’t know how to handle something. Therapy and counselling must be normalised because so many lives are being devastated because of this. So many families are breaking apart.
