“This is my first year teaching and I’m coming into this later in life after leaving a prior career. It’s 2020-2021 school year amidst COVID, need I say more?! I was in a major slump and I had only just begun. The second I heard Monica talk for the first time at a recent PD, I knew her inspiration, energy, and realness was exactly what I needed to get me re-energized about the amazing career that is teaching.
