Educational in more than one way
Listening to this podcast is a great way to learn specifically about viruses and the strategies that an infectious organism uses, in general. I also find the commentary between the hosts to be very insightful with regards to learning about the lives of scientists. I enjoy their discussions about their educational backgrounds and career paths and choices, as well as the things they do on a day-to-day basis. The hosts also do a commendable job of teaching how to think scientifically. That is, they explain the reasoning behind scientific ideas and why certain publically held views may be irrational or inconsistent with scienfitic research. Thus, this podcast is also a great lesson in scientific reasoning.
