“I am one in a family full of Jesus and Bible Fans. Like Thomas, I just never "got it", but have always wanted to try to at least read the Bible. I have tried unsuccessfully to read "Bible for Dummies" as well as the more reader friendly versions of the BIble, but just couldn't do it. Thomas' readings and commentary, in my opinion are brilliant! I am actually learning the stories, the characters and places, and am thoroughly entertained in the process. Who would have thought! Unlike some of the books available today that seem to seethe with hate and criticism, Thomas' approach is more done in more of a "poking fun at" way. I enjoy his humor, interpretations, and bringing to life of the various characters emotions and such. A year to get through it did indeed seem like an overly ambitious undertaking and it slowed down alot over the year. I would very much enjoy seeing this Podcast continue and possibly be done on a weekly, more manageable schedule. Keep up the good work!”
