A Bible audiobook with palatably atheist ruminations
I just flipped through the Bible, and I can safely say it's by far the best book I've ever read. I've always been into fantasy novels because I like to make believe about a lot about things, and living in a meadow with a cape and playing with sacks is one of them, as is pretending to talk to emotionally unstable demigods, so this was right up my alley. You better believe this book will change your life if you're into the same stuff I'm into. This is probably one of the more absurdist books I've read, and Thomas' readings are quite apropos. Simply awesome. Had me pumping my fist in the air and yelling, "Yes!" over and over again. I listened to these in one marthon session of fist-pumping and yelling.

More reviews of Thomas and the Bible
Thomas tells it like it is, he gives his honest opinion, reaserches what the heck the confusing parts mean, and can now build an Ark and a Tabernacle from scratch, because he read the directions, twice.

Thomas makes it humorous and his commentary is more than entertaining... he makes really great points. Definitely suggest for anyone who wants to read the old testament...Read full review »
