“I have respect for commentators like Andrew Sheets but these 6 month prospective outlook commentaries should be coupled with a review of how outlooks from 6 months ago worked out.
Unfortunately, the house view 6 months ago related to equities turned out to be very, very wrong. And I am a fan of your work.
So have a show that analyzes where the mistakes were made, models turned out wrong, etc. and what’s changed if anything. That will give more credibility to forecasts going forward. In the absence of that, simply doing 6 months outlooks with no thoughtful retrospective analysis is just a sell job that when it actually turns out right, may be due to nothing but luck.
