Decent storytelling, too many breaks, why does the blurb keep playing?
The storytelling is decent, but there is not enough substance to the story to require breaking it into 30 min episodes. Producers seemed to make up for this by having more ad breaks. Most annoying was that the show’s blurb played 3 times per episode. “After midnight, on July 6, 2012,” yes I know, I’m 20 minutes into the fourth episode. “But you’ve never heard it like this,” I literally have, I’m listening to the last available episode. Not only did this confuse where in the story we were, but it was an unnecessary waste of 2 minutes per episode, and when episodes already have so little content, those 2 minutes feel even longer.

For those interested in mystery and true crime, this is a MUST! Expertly written and narrated by the two talented story tellers. Can’t wait for additional episodes and more podcasts from this team.
