Mark Atkinson from the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences presented his Three Minute Thesis entitled "Language, Learning and Society: How Can Population Structure Shape the Way You Speak?" The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition requires PhD students to compete to deliver the best research presentation in just three minutes (and one slide). Nine finalists from across our three Colleges took part in the University of Edinburgh Final 2013.
