“Long story short, this podcast is incredible and you should listen to it!
I’ve been meaning to write a review for a minute but I usually listen on the subway and don’t have service lol I first was introduced to you via the Put Your Hands Together podcast a few years ago and I was like yessssss queer folx doing standup! Every time you mentioned baseball during a set it’d often be followed by a comment like “not too many baseball fans here ey?” (Paraphrasing sorry lol) and I’d be like no no go MEEEE IM A FAN! When you announced Likely mad as hell I flipped out and despite my Mets having a dreadful season (and my forever grudge against Utley for breaking Ruben Tejada’s leg 😜) that World Series became one of my favorites because I got to listen to you talk about it. (And also I mean some great mf baseball!)
I can’t tell you how much it means to me as a queer woman to listen to another queer person (who I already really loved from hearing their standup) talk about baseball. Thank you thank you thank you for doing this podcast, even while you’re exhausted af on tour. I’m a member of the 7 Line Army (those crazy Mets fans in orange who sometimes travel to games) and I’ve been telling everyone about Three Swings at our outings!
